The Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning announced the launch of a timetable to update the income data of the citizens whose applications are made by the Ministry during the period from Sunday, August 4 to October 31, 2024.

It noted that the mechanism for updating income data is done electronically by attaching the proof of income of the housing applicant through the online service dedicated to "updating income data" only, which was launched on the national portal bahrain.bh, without the need to visit the customer service center at the Ministry's headquarters.

The Ministry called on all citizens with existing housing applications to undertake the mandatory modernization of the housing application by attaching proof of the applicant's housing income within the specified time frame extended until the end of October to ensure the continuation of the housing demand.

The Ministry also noted that if a citizen is unable to complete the update transaction electronically, an appointment can be reserved for a service "Income Update Service enquiries" launched by the Ministry on its website, which allows citizens to communicate visually with the employee of the Customer Service Center to respond to questions related to the update service. The Ministry also provides support and assistance services via the Ministry's hotline 80008001 or interactive communication services available via the Remote Customer Service Center platform on the Ministry's website.

The Ministry reported that the Housing Applications Modernization Programme is a periodic procedure to be implemented with the aim of updating the Ministry's database and information, thereby contributing to support development plans and planning the provision of housing services to citizens. It also aims to ensure that citizens' data conform to the criteria for accessing the service applicant.

The Ministry called upon citizens with existing housing applications to respond to the modernization procedures according to the stated timetable, while noting the need to ensure that all citizens with housing applications are registered in the Government Notifications Service "Notifications", to receive text messages sent by the Ministry in this regard.
