The Ministry of Housing confirmed its full and continuous keenness to communicate with the municipal councils in the Kingdom of Bahrain to serve the interests of the citizen. The Ministry was also keen to respond to the invitation to attend the council’s sessions and within the limits of the functions undertaken by the councils, in order to inform the council of developments and topics related to the housing issue.
The ministry confirmed that it had allocated, within the general plan of East Hidd City, the lands for service uses in accordance with the requirements and planning standards and in coordination with the concerned authorities, so that all the necessary facilities and services are available to serve the residents and visitors of the cities from places of worship, security, health, educational, commercial, sports and other facilities.
The ministry indicated that, in coordination with various relevant government agencies, it worked to provide the necessary lands for the establishment of health, educational, commercial and sports facilities and places of worship, as well as providing public facilities to serve citizens such as Bahrain frontages in coastal cities, walking and bicycle paths, with the aim of creating model cities that meet the objectives of the project. sustainability.
Many government agencies have already started implementing their plans to provide these facilities and services, including the completion of the construction of a mosque and a mosque in the city of East Hidd, out of 8 mosques and mosques, and the remaining construction procedures are being completed, and this step will be followed by other steps to provide commercial, health and other facilities.
In the context of providing commercial services in the city of East Hidd; The Ministry of Housing confirmed that it relies on the multi-use system in one place, which is one of the foundations that positively influences the quality of life, as well as achieving the optimal use of the available land space, as commercial services will be provided through multiple areas such as those located within the residential buildings under construction. Which will provide as a whole an area for commercial services estimated at approximately 7000 square meters, or within the mosques that will provide a building area for commercial use estimated at 1800 square meters, in addition to a central commercial service area equivalent to a total area of approximately 120000 square meters, ready for reconstruction, as the Ministry has completed the work of The burial of the city in 2012, that is, before construction began.
