The Minister of Housing, Engineer Basem bin Yaqoub Al-Hamar, announced the launch of a new phone application that provides electronic services to citizens around the clock in order to facilitate the process of communication between the ministry and citizens and supports all smart phone operating systems that run the operating system of Apple devices (IOS) and Android devices (Android).
The Minister of Housing explained that the application developed by the ministry is the latest new channel that allows communication and interaction between the ministry and citizens, and that it is added to the series of electronic services available to everyone through various platforms, and includes many advantages.
Engineer Al-Hamar said: The services provided by the "housing" application can be summarized in 8 main services by entering the electronic key (e-key), through which a new housing application can be submitted for all types of housing services (residential unit - housing voucher - ownership apartment - Mazaya). Renovation financing - construction financing - purchase financing), housing application inquiry service (displaying application status - housing application number - housing application history), and housing application attachments update service, in addition to updating contact data and international account.
The application also provides a service to communicate with the Housing Committee, which is concerned with following up and studying humanitarian cases, in addition to the electronic family declaration service, which allows the citizen to submit a declaration that allows the Ministry to dispense with the credit report in various housing transactions, such as submitting a new application, updating applications, or allocating them and others. of services, with the aim of facilitating housing reviews, and reducing the time and effort of the reviewers.
In addition, the application allows citizens to use the “At Your Command” service, which is supervised by the Ministry’s senior management, headed by Engineer Basem bin Yaqoub Al-Hamar, Minister of Housing, in order to see urgent cases for citizens and decide on them as soon as possible, as well as convey the comments and suggestions of the auditors.
The application includes a set of electronic links that facilitate the citizen, including: a link to register in the government notification service, a link to the Ministry of Housing and Housing Bank website, and the presentation of housing projects (carried out - under monetization - future) and the presentation of approved Mazaya projects.
The Minister of Housing indicated that the launch of the electronic application has gone through more than one stage, as the ministry began to enumerate the requirements of citizens and write down their needs, and the application was designed to suit all those needs in a way that ensures ease of browsing and actual use of services.
He added that the application underwent a trial period to ensure its effectiveness and was designed with the efforts of Bahraini cadres and can be controlled and updated through remote work technology, and will subsequently be subject to evaluation at a later stage to ensure its ability to communicate safely and smoothly.
The Minister of Housing concluded his statement by noting that this step aligns with the ministry’s direction to develop its communicative services with citizens and facilitate the delivery of observations and suggestions to those concerned with the various departments, within the framework of completing the plan to convert all the ministry’s services into electronic services, ensuring speedy completion with the required quality and reducing the actual presence of citizens in the ministry building. .
