The minister said that the average value of housing units purchased by the beneficiaries has reached About 109 thousand Bahraini dinars, and the largest proportion of the units purchased by the beneficiaries was concentrated in the northern governorate with 47%, followed by Muharraq governorate with 39%, then the capital governorate by 9% and the southern governorate by 4%.

Basem Al-Hamar touched on the statistics on the economic impact, as he indicated that the total volume of expenditure provided by the Mazaya Program in the relevant sectors, such as the real estate and finance sectors, the contracting sectors, engineering consultancy and retail, amounted to 880 million Bahraini dinars, which confirms the benefit of this program in supplying the national economy. in the Kingdom.
The Minister of Housing also indicated that the percentage of purchase of housing units in the Northern Governorate was 88% of homes and 12% of ownership apartments. Muharraq governorate accounted for 43% of houses compared to 57% of apartments, while the percentage of home purchases in the Capital Governorate was 87% compared to 13% of apartments, and the governorate South 25% for homes compared to 75% for apartments.
On the other hand, Engineer Bassem Al-Hamar indicated that converting the application service to benefit from the Mazaya program into an electronic service through the new electronic platform of the Ministry of Housing has contributed to facilitating and accelerating the procedures of citizens, as the citizen only has to submit the application electronically and attach the required documents, to start his application cycle. The procedures are done through the internal electronic system with the financing banks, which saves the citizen time and effort.
The Minister of Housing praised the efforts and cooperation of the financing banks to provide financing solutions to citizens, whether by facilitating and accelerating procedures that ensure immediate access to the housing service, or through promotional offers that allow the citizen great financing flexibility to choose his appropriate housing that meets his needs in terms of geographical location, space and internal components. of the housing unit, noting the prominent role of the Housing Bank in communicating with the financing banks, and its efforts to increase the number of banks included in the program.
Minister Al-Hamr added that the success achieved by the "Mazaya" program constituted an incentive to study the introduction of more similar initiatives, which ensure that citizens receive immediate services, adding that this comes within the framework of implementing the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Chairman of the Council of Ministers.
