The Ministry of Housing launched an electronic maintenance request service for citizens benefiting from ownership apartments and temporary apartments through its website, in continuation to the interactive services package that the ministry started to launch on its electronic platform early last June, to facilitate communication between citizens and the ministry, in a way that contributes to the speed of completion and the achievement of quality Required.
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Housing, Sheikh Khalid bin Hammoud Al Khalifa, confirmed that this service comes within the framework of the timetable set by the committee in charge of digital transformation to gradually transform all the ministry’s services into electronic services, noting that the ministry’s digital transformation plan comes within a comprehensive development system that a team is working on implementing A specialized work that has been formed and its objectives have been set to develop the service and administrative work in the Ministry to facilitate and develop procedures for working with citizens, especially direct services with the beneficiaries.

Khaled bin Hammoud stated that the new service allows beneficiaries of the ownership apartments service to report maintenance requests electronically, by visiting the website and clicking on the maintenance request option, and then recording the personal data of the beneficiary and his apartment, and the required maintenance notes and attaching pictures of the cases to be maintained. That the electronic system communicates directly with the specialized contractor and the engineer in charge of maintaining the residential area to carry out the required maintenance.
