His Excellency Eng. Basem bin Yaqoub Al-Hamr, Minister of Housing, held a remote working meeting with His Excellency Representative Ahmed Al-Salloum. During the meeting, a number of topics related to the Fifth District in the Capital Governorate were discussed and topics of common interest, which would enhance cooperation and coordination between the Ministry of Housing and the House of Representatives. This is to implement housing programs that ensure adequate housing for all citizens.
The meeting also touched on ways to enhance joint cooperation between the Ministry of Housing and the House of Representatives, and support the ministry’s plans to meet the requests on the waiting lists, by accelerating the pace of work on housing projects listed on the ministry’s plans. The progress of housing projects under implementation in the new cities of Bahrain, and plans were also reviewed. The Ministry to meet housing requests in the Kingdom's governorates, including the Capital Governorate.
At the end of the meeting, His Excellency Representative Ahmed Salloum, a member of Parliament, thanked the Minister of Housing for the tangible efforts of the Ministry in providing social housing for citizens, expressing his readiness to cooperate with the Ministry to implement those plans and projects according to the timetables set for them.
