The ministry added that it has been apologized for the fulfillment of 218 requests before the committee at a rate of 40%, due to the lack of application of criteria for urgent or humanitarian cases, while 58 requests are subject to 10% of more studies and social research and the fulfillment of the required documents in preparation for presentation to the committee and decision-making the appropriate.
In the context of ensuring the interests of citizens and meeting urgent and humanitarian requests without delay, and in line with the precautionary measures to combat the "Corona" virus, the Ministry of Housing received a number of citizens for conducting "remote" personal interviews, as it required further study and clarification.

The Ministry indicated that the «Housing Committee» is concerned with studying requests for exemption, postponement and reduction submitted by the beneficiaries of the various housing projects, such as housing financing, unit ownership services, residential apartments, and temporary apartment service.
