In implementation of the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the country, may God protect and preserve him, and the order of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to distribute 6,800 housing services to citizens, the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning, today, continued the delivery procedures. Residential units for beneficiaries of the Salman City, East Hidd City, and East Sitra City projects, where the housing units were drawn according to the schedule previously prepared to receive citizens within an accelerated and continuous pace of work until February 2024.
For their part, citizens expressed their joy with these directives, praising the smooth organization and easy procedures, through which a detailed explanation was provided by specialists about the housing units, requirements and guarantees provided by the Ministry, and they were informed of the electronic withdrawal mechanism, types of housing units, and contract details.
The Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning also continued the procedures for disbursing housing financing to citizens through the three types of “Tas’heel” financing, “real estate facilitation, cooperation facilitation, and Al-Bait Al-Oud facilitation,” in addition to financing the benefits of the new category.
On the same level, the Ministry’s Customer Support Center continued to receive citizens wishing to benefit from housing financing services, as the Ministry provides advisory services at the center and through the Ministry’s website www.housing.gov.bh and the e-government portal, with the aim of providing consultations and responding to inquiries regarding the standards and provisions of types of financing. Various options, providing the necessary support to the citizen to choose the type of financing that suits his needs, and then submit the application electronically through the website.
The Ministry indicated that there are advisors at the Customer Support Center, fully prepared to provide consultations and calculate the value of financing to citizens before starting the official procedures, in addition to the electronic services that it provides via the video call service for those wishing to benefit from these financing consultations without coming to the Ministry’s building and in a way that suits their circumstances.
