In implementation of the order of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God preserve him, to distribute 5,000 units and housing services, Engineer Basem bin Yaqoub Al-Hamr, Minister of Housing, announced that the ministry will continue the procedures for distributing the Al-Buhair housing project to the beneficiary citizens.
On the sidelines of his initiation of the distribution procedures, the Minister of Housing stated that the housing project "Al-Buhair" is one of the most prominent housing projects implemented by the Ministry in the Southern Governorate, and that it is one of the tributaries of the housing plan to accelerate the pace of providing housing units to citizens as quickly as possible, thus implementing the housing commitment contained in the government's work program Providing 25 thousand housing units.
The Minister of Housing said that the support of the esteemed government headed by His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister contributed to the acceleration of its distribution to citizens after the completion rates of various housing projects reached advanced stages, which resulted in housing thousands of families in the units allocated to them.
The minister stated that the housing project has reached 99% completion rates, and that the project is distinguished, in addition to its location, by including many services and facilities that serve the residents of the project, as open areas for children's games, as well as providing special paths for pedestrians and bicycles, similar to the projects of the new Bahrain cities.
Engineer Al-Hamar said that the lake project will contribute significantly to fulfilling the housing requests listed on the waiting lists in the southern governorate, stating that the requests of that governorate have witnessed progress made in recent years in terms of the pace of meeting the housing demands in it, especially after the distribution of the first stages in Khalifa City, and complex projects. Housing in West Riffa and Eastern Riffa, indicating that work is continuing to implement projects and provide housing services in the Southern Governorate and the various governorates of the Kingdom in general.
The minister talked about the program of distributing the 5,000 housing units ordered by His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, where he indicated that it is proceeding according to the established plans, and that the Housing Services Department holds a daily coordination meeting with the participation of those involved in project management to follow up the procedures and facilitate them to ensure the speed of completion. He stressed the ministry's utmost keenness to ensure that the housing service reaches the citizen as quickly as possible and with the highest quality standards.
