In implementation of the order of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister to distribute 5,000 housing units and services, Engineer Basem bin Yaqoub Al-Hamar, Minister of Housing, announced that the ministry had begun the procedures for distributing the Al-Buhair housing project to the beneficiaries.
On the sidelines of his initiation of the distribution procedures, the Minister of Housing stated that the "Al-Buhair" housing project is one of the most prominent housing projects that the ministry is implementing in the southern Governorate, and that it is one of the main tributaries of the implementation program of the royal decree to build 40,000 housing units that the country's monarch, may God preserve and protect him, have ordered to implement As soon as possible, and stemming from the housing commitment contained in the government’s program to work on providing 25,000 housing units, indicating that the government’s honorable support headed by His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister contributed to expediting its distribution to citizens after the completion rates reached the stage Final.
In addition to its location, the Minister stated that the Housing Project is distinguished by its inclusion of many services and facilities that serve the residents of the project, as open areas for children's games, as well as providing special paths for pedestrians and bicycles, similar to the projects of new Bahrain cities.
Engineer Al-Hamr said that the lake project will contribute greatly to fulfilling the housing requests listed on the waiting lists in the southern governorate, stating that the requests of that governorate have witnessed progress made in recent years in terms of the pace of fulfilling housing requests in it, especially after the distribution of the first stages in Khalifa City, and projects Residential complexes in West Riffa and East Riffa, indicating that work is continuing to implement projects and provide housing services in the Southern Governorate and the various governorates of the Kingdom in general.
The minister talked about the program of distributing 5,000 housing units ordered by His Highness the Crown Prince, where he indicated that it would proceed according to the established plans, and that the Housing Services Department holds a daily coordination meeting with the participation of those involved in project management to follow up the procedures and facilitate them to ensure the speed of completion, stressing the Ministry’s keenness. Total ensuring that the housing service reaches the citizen as quickly as possible and with the highest quality standards.
