Engineer Bassem bin Yaqoub Al-Hamr, Minister of Housing, stated that the completion of the distribution of the units of the second phase in the Qlaia district “coincides with the completion of the completion rates in the construction work and the infrastructure for this phase, after the ministry had previously distributed the units of the first batch of this project, explaining that the units of this neighborhood It includes 740 housing units.

The Minister of Housing said that the Ministry is seeking to complete the distribution of all units of Qlaiaa district, so that it has completed the distribution of the third district in the city, after it completed the completion and distribution of the “Bushaheen” neighborhood and the allocation of residential plots in the “Umm Al-Shajar” neighborhood, which in turn is witnessing an acceleration of construction from Before the beneficiaries, which reflects the acceleration of the pace of work in East Hidd City in general, noting that housing the Qulaia neighborhood will represent the second phase of the city's operation.

The minister noted the acceleration of efforts to implement the remaining phases of the East Hidd City project, as “East Hadd” is one of the pillars of the Ministry’s plan to implement the Supreme Order, which stems from the government's current work program.

It is worth noting that East Hidd City is one of Bahrain's new cities projects, and it consists in its general plan of 4,036 housing units and 496 residential plots, and upon completion will accommodate about 28,000 people, and the city is distinguished by its coastal location in the northeast of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and contains many facilities and services, These include schools for various educational levels, places of worship, health centers and medical clinics, as the city is distinguished by providing 58,000 square meters of gardens and 300,000 square meters of green spaces, as well as a waterfront and parks extending over 35,000 square meters, with special paths for pedestrians and bicycles.
