The Minister of Housing pointed out that the electronic transformation that the Ministry is adopting, especially after its electronic platform was launched in its new situation, contributed to simplifying procedures and speedy completion of various housing transactions, including the “Mazaya” program, as this transformation raised the efficiency of this ambitious program, explaining in this regard that the Ministry of Housing She developed the procedural session to benefit from the program in coordination with the Housing Bank, noting that this experience comes in the context of implementing the housing obligations contained in the government program, specifically the endeavor to provide 25 thousand housing units, and to provide innovative and diverse housing solutions to citizens.

The minister said that the statistics indicate an increase in the rates of allocating the services of Mazaya Program annually during the past years, noting that the number increased from 773 beneficiaries annually in the years 2014 and 2015, to reach 1358 beneficiaries in 2019, indicating a noticeable increase in the demand for the benefit of the program as we see it This year, due to the advantages it provides, the most prominent of which is obtaining immediate service, and giving the citizen the flexibility to choose the location and type of unit that best suits the needs of his family.

Eng. Basem Al-Hamr touched on the statistics of the economic impact, as he pointed out that the total amount of spending provided by Mazaya program in the relevant sectors, such as the real estate and finance sectors, and the contracting, engineering and retail sectors has reached BD 837 million, which confirms the benefit of this program in supporting the national economy. In the kingdom.

The Minister of Housing noted that the Deira El-Ayoun project represents one of the initiatives of the Ministry of Housing within the axis of partnership with the private sector, as the Ministry had concluded an agreement with Diyar Al-Muharraq Company, according to which more than 3000 housing units will be provided to citizens benefiting from the Mazaya program.
