"Housing" begins to distribute a new batch of units in the city of Khalifa
Pursuant to the order of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander, First Deputy Prime Minister, to distribute 5,000 housing units within the framework of the royal directives, Engineer Basem bin Yaqoub Al Hamar, Minister of Housing, announced the handover of the keys to the Al-Naimat project, "Riyad Askar" Khalifa city located in the southern province.
The Minister of Housing said that the Khalifa City project is one of the main projects included in the Ministry’s program to implement the order of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of the country, His Majesty, may God protect and sponsor him, by building 40 thousand housing units, in addition to the housing commitment contained in the current government program.
Al-Hamr added that Khalifa City is considered one of the model cities, as it is characterized by the presence of beaches and spaces designated for its public parks, as well as its islands linking a sophisticated network of roads and bridges, noting that the city was designed to be connected to a number of main entrances to accommodate the traffic movement of the residents of the region And its visitors, taking into account the provision of dedicated paths for pedestrians and bicycles, with the availability of stops for public transport vehicles, in addition to the provision of major and subsidiary power stations, a water station and another for wastewater treatment, as well as the presence of major services and facilities such as mosques, nurseries and kindergarten , Schools, universities, hospitals and major health centers and clinics, sports city with a football stadium, in addition to the open gardens.
Engineer Basem bin Yaqoub Al-Hamar also noted that the distribution of Khalifa City units is one of the housing projects that the Ministry is distributing within the framework of the Ministry's timetable to implement the order of His Highness the Crown Prince to distribute 5,000 housing units, distributed over the projects of new Bahrain cities and housing complex projects in the governorates of the Kingdom.
