HE Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, Ms. Amna bint Ahmed Al Rumaihi, met with Mr. Zhang Hu, CEO of Sinosure China, as part of her official visit to the People's Republic of China.
The meeting discussed ways to enhance cooperation and develop relations between the two sides, in light of the success of the current cooperation in the implementation of the Sitra Housing Project in coordination with CMEC.
The meeting also reviewed the latest developments in the implementation of the second phase of the project, which is currently underway, in addition to the requirements of the next phase after the conclusion of the contracts for the implementation of the third phase of the project with the implementing company.
The ministry's programs to provide housing services to citizens through different tracks were reviewed, namely: The housing finance program, the government land development rights program in partnership with the private sector, and the completion of projects to implement housing cities.
The meeting also focused on investment opportunities in the provision of housing services in the Kingdom, especially through the government land development rights program in partnership with the private sector, which allows the implementation of housing projects at prices commensurate with the value of the financing provided by the Ministry to citizens.
The meeting was attended by HE Dr. Mohammed Ghassan Sheikho, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Republic of China, Engineer Balsam Al Salman, Assistant Undersecretary for Engineering Affairs, Mr. Khalid Salman Al Qasimi, Director of the Industrial Development Department at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, and a number of officials from the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning and the Chinese companies Sinosure and CMEC.
