In the context of activating joint cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Housing received on Wednesday morning, March 30, a delegation of the “Hospitality” program, organized by the Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa Academy for Diplomatic Studies of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with the aim of identifying housing and urban projects and the quality of life in the housing cities, in light of the Covenant Al-Zahir and the comprehensive development process of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of the country, may God protect him and protect him.

The delegation visited the city of Salman, where it was briefed on the model of the housing unit for visitors, in addition to visiting the city's facilities and reviewing the level of services and quality of life implemented by housing to create sustainability for city dwellers and achieve living stability for Bahraini families.

For her part, Mrs. Maryam Juma Al-Fulaiti, Director of the Housing Services Department at the Ministry of Housing, stressed the importance of the “Hospitality” program, whose idea began 4 years ago with the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect him, which gives The program gains great importance by achieving its objectives by highlighting the positive side of the development and housing projects for delegations from brotherly and friendly countries, expressing its gratitude to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for making housing projects on their agenda for visiting delegations to inform them of the level of achievement and the readiness of facilities and services.

Al-Fulaiti touched on the unlimited support for housing projects from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of the country, may God protect him, in addition to the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect him, to implement innovative housing projects and initiatives. .

Al-Fulaiti pointed to the role of the private sector supporting the ministry in establishing and developing the future projects of the ministry as a partner in the wheel of development in the country, noting that housing provides a range of housing services for citizens of various segments and levels to be inclusive of all, including immediate services such as the "Mazaya" program, which achieved adequate housing. For more than 10,000 citizens, in addition to financial funds in the field of buying houses and apartments, and renovation services for units.

During the visit, a visual presentation was presented that included the most important stations of the housing march in the Kingdom of Bahrain, the projects that the ministry worked on establishing during the past period and future projects.

The visit comes within the framework of the second edition of the Hospitality Program, which hosts a number of diplomats from different countries to exchange expertise and experience and review the achievements and development plans.
