The Assistant Undersecretary for Housing Projects, Eng. Reda Al-Adraj, revealed that the completion rates of the project to implement 303 housing units in Salman City have reached 45%, indicating that it is hoped that the implementation of the project will be completed and the units will be delivered to the beneficiaries during the first half of next year 2022.
Al-Adraj said that the design and implementation of these units was carried out according to a developed residential model with a modern modern design, in the island site No. 14, where the residential unit consists of 4 bedrooms, two halls, a majlis, a kitchen, a garden, and parking for two cars.
He indicated that these units have been fully allocated to the requests on the waiting lists according to seniority, both in the northern governorate and other governorates, stressing the ministry's keenness to speed up the delivery of the project to the beneficiaries according to the time plan allocated for this, by increasing the pace of completion to deliver the project in the coming months.
Regarding the engineering design of the housing units, the Assistant Undersecretary for Housing Projects indicated that these units took into account the privacy of the Bahraini family and its desire to live and settle in a modern, modern house that meets its needs.
He added that the infrastructure and services accompanying the project to build 303 fully qualified housing units, noting that the largest part of the project is located on a waterfront so that most units have a wonderful view of the sea, as well as gardens, green spaces and roads designated for cyclists and pedestrians.
It is worth noting that Salman City was opened in 2018, and is considered the largest and most advanced in the projects of the new cities of Bahrain, as it is characterized by the quality of life and has many educational, health and commercial facilities, places of worship, service facilities and green spaces, as well as its waterfronts that extend for a distance of 40 kilometers.
