His Excellency Eng. Basem bin Yaqoub Al-Hamr, Minister of Housing, received in his office in the Ministry’s office His Excellency Deputy Ammar Al Abbas, Member of Parliament. During the meeting, a number of issues related to the ninth district in the Capital Governorate were discussed and topics of common interest, which would enhance cooperation and coordination between the Ministry of Housing and the Council Representatives, in order to implement housing programs that ensure adequate housing for all citizens.
The meeting touched on strengthening joint cooperation between the Ministry of Housing and the House of Representatives, and supporting the ministry’s plans to meet the requests on the waiting lists, by accelerating the pace of work on housing projects listed on the ministry’s plans. The progress of housing projects under implementation in the new cities of Bahrain was also reviewed, and the ministry’s plans to meet Housing requests in the Kingdom’s governorates, including the Capital Governorate.
At the end of the meeting, His Excellency Representative Ammar Al Abbas, Member of Parliament, offered his sincere thanks and appreciation to His Excellency the Minister for his tangible efforts in providing social housing for citizens, expressing his readiness to cooperate with the Ministry to implement those plans and projects according to the timetables set for them.
