Minister of Housing and Urban Planning Receives Author Noora Al-Faihani and a Copy of Her Book on Bahraini Women and the National Economy

Her Excellency Ms. Amna bint Ahmed Al Romaihi, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, received author and banker Noora Mohammed Al-Faihani, who presented Her Excellency with a copy of her book, Bahraini Women and the National Economy: From Empowerment to Impact in the Era of His Majesty the King.

During the meeting, Her Excellency the Minister of Housing and Urban Planning affirmed the support and care enjoyed by Bahraini women under the comprehensive development process led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the Kingdom of Bahrain, may God protect and preserve him, and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect him. She noted that this support has strengthened Bahraini women’s presence and active contributions across various areas of national work and economic development.

Her Excellency commended the role undertaken by the Supreme Council for Women, chaired by Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Consort of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women, may God protect her, in supporting the advancement of Bahraini women and enhancing their contributions as active partners in the national development process.

Her Excellency the Minister also highlighted the importance of national publications that contribute to documenting the journey of Bahraini women and their achievements and qualitative contributions across various sectors. She praised the book’s content, which documents and analyses the role of Bahraini women in the national economy, reflecting the advanced position they have attained and their ability to make an impactful contribution to the development process.

For her part, author and banker Noora Mohammed Al-Faihani expressed her thanks and appreciation to Her Excellency the Minister of Housing and Urban Planning for the warm reception. She valued the Kingdom of Bahrain’s continued attention to supporting Bahraini women and empowering them to continue their contributions across various fields, wishing the Kingdom of Bahrain continued progress and prosperity.
