The Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning and Eskan Bank will organize the tenth edition of the “Mobile Branch for Housing Finance” initiative from Wednesday, 19 August 2026, to Sunday, 23 August 2026, at The Avenues, near Entrance No. 1.
The tenth edition builds on the success and strong engagement witnessed during previous editions of the initiative, most recently the edition held as part of the “Youth City 2030” activities at Exhibition World Bahrain from 2 to 6 August. The initiative provided visitors with an opportunity to learn firsthand about housing and financing services and solutions, as well as receive specialized consultations.
The Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning and Eskan Bank affirmed that the new edition is being organized as part of their ongoing efforts to strengthen direct engagement with citizens, introduce them to the latest housing and financing initiatives and services, and provide specialized consultations on the available options. This contributes to facilitating access to housing and financing solutions and helps citizens select options that best suit their needs and financial capabilities.
The Ministry explained that the Mobile Branch will provide citizens with an opportunity to learn more about the available financing programmes and housing solutions, particularly “Tumouh” financing, “Tas’heel” and “Tas’heel+”. Visitors will receive detailed information on each programme, including eligibility mechanisms and the key terms and criteria, in addition to specialized consultations provided by representatives of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning and Eskan Bank.
The Ministry added that citizens will be able to directly raise their inquiries regarding financing amounts, repayment periods, eligibility requirements, and required procedures. They will also be able to learn about how the financing programmes can be used to own a home, purchase a residential unit, or acquire land, in accordance with the options available under each programme. This aims to enhance citizens’ awareness of housing and financing solutions and facilitate their homeownership journey.
The Ministry noted that the “Baity” real estate platform will also be available to citizens with its full range of services. The platform offers a variety of properties across the governorates of the Kingdom of Bahrain, in addition to virtual tours of projects, enabling visitors to explore property options that meet their needs.
It further noted that the properties listed on the platform are compatible with housing financing schemes, including the various “Tas’heel” programmes, “Tas’heel+”, the “Mazaya” programme, and its newly introduced category. This provides citizens with a diverse range of property options linked to the available financing solutions.
Through the Mobile Branch initiative, the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning and Eskan Bank continue to expand channels of communication and direct outreach to citizens, providing housing and financing information and consultations at various locations. This contributes to improving accessibility to services and supporting citizens in selecting housing and financing solutions that best meet their needs.
Since its launch, the Mobile Branch initiative has been held at a variety of locations, including several shopping malls and destinations that attract large numbers of citizens. These include Ramli Mall, Country Mall, The Avenues, City Centre Bahrain, Enma Mall, Marassi Galleria, Seef Mall, and most recently Youth City 2030, as part of an ongoing approach to bringing housing and financing services closer to citizens wherever they are.
