Her Excellency Mrs. Amna bint Ahmed Al Rumaihi, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, affirmed that the Prime Minister's Program for the Development of Government Personnel embodies an advanced national approach to preparing and qualifying national competencies, which contributes to enhancing the efficiency of government work and supporting development and innovation paths in various sectors. She commended the program's qualitative opportunities for exchanging expertise and learning about best government practices.
She pointed out that investing in national cadres and qualifying them with specialized knowledge and expertise represents a fundamental pillar for continuing to support the comprehensive development process under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of the country, may God protect and preserve him, and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect him.
This came during a meeting between His Excellency the Minister of Housing and Urban Planning and members of the eleventh batch of the Prime Minister's Program for the Development of Government Personnel, during the field visit made by members of the batch to Salman City, to review the role, tasks and projects of the Ministry, in addition to the mechanisms for implementing modern housing projects and to learn about the most prominent facilities and services included in the city.
During the visit, the Minister reviewed the most prominent successful models of partnership with the private sector, represented by the "Al Naseem Neighborhood “" project, stressing the continuation of this approach by concluding agreements to implement 137 new housing units in Salman City within the same program, within the framework of the Ministry's plans to expand various housing options, stressing that these partnerships represent a fundamental pillar for accelerating the pace of providing housing services and achieving the desired development goals.
The visit also included an inspection of residential apartment projects, where participants were briefed on the model apartment in the Salman City Buildings Project, which provides 1,362 apartments designed according to advanced standards that meet the needs of Bahraini families based on the results of social studies. In addition, the second phase of the "Developed Generation" of residential buildings was reviewed, which includes 432 new apartments, with a focus on the integration of public services and facilities and open spaces included in the construction plans.
For their part, members of the eleventh batch of the Prime Minister's Program for Developing Government Cadres expressed their thanks to Her Excellency the Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, stressing that these meetings contribute to providing them with the practical experience necessary to deal with national challenges, which enhances their readiness to contribute to developing government performance.
