The Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning announced that the reservation of units of the "Danat Sanad" housing project in the Southern Governorate, which consists of 47 housing units, and is implemented by the "An-Naml" Company within the framework of projects included within the government land development rights program, noting that all units were reserved by citizens with Housing applications on the waiting list, who transferred their applications to benefit from one of the immediate financing options provided by the Ministry through the "Tasheel" and "programmes"Tasheel+".

Her Excellency Mrs. Amna bint Ahmed Al Rumaihi, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, stated that the units of the "Danat Sanad" project have witnessed great demand from citizens who are about to benefit from the options of the housing financing program, since the Ministry announced the opening of reservations for the project units in conjunction with the Cityscape Bahrain exhibition last month, through the "Sell on the Map" option available on the Beity Real Estate platform.

The Minister stated that the results of the analysis of the project reservation applications data indicate that all applicants with housing applications whose applications are included in the list of benefiting from traditional ownership services, and wish to transfer their housing applications to benefit from the housing financing program options, through the "Tasheel" and "Tasheel+" options, which provide great flexibility in obtaining suitable housing immediately.

The Minister added that the citizens who transferred their applications to financing services to reserve units of the "Danat Sanad" project date back to the years extending from 2002 to 2019, which reflects the ability of the housing programs provided by the Ministry in partnership with the private sector to provide suitable housing for citizens through flexible and immediate options.

Minister Amna Al Rumaihi stressed that the demand to reserve government land development rights program project units and purchase them through housing financing program options represents a practical response to the goals of the government program 2023–2026, especially with regard to continuing to develop policies to ensure the sustainability of housing services, and strengthening partnership with the private sector in a way that contributes to increasing and diversifying housing solutions for citizens, and expanding the scope of partnership with the private sector Pointing out that these goals represent the way to achieve sustainable provision of housing services in the long term.

She added that the partnership with the private sector has witnessed qualitative development during the past stage, through more flexible and efficient implementation models, which contributed to raising the quality of projects, accelerating completion, and diversifying the housing options available to citizens, noting that the "Danat Sand" project is the first project to be reserved according to the off-plan sales mechanism, after the issuance of the ministerial decision regulating it last November.
The Minister explained that this mechanism aims to provide greater options for citizens by giving them the ability to choose and reserve their residential units early according to approved and clear plans, in addition to benefiting from the financing and procedural facilities provided by the program, starting from reservation, through financing procedures, and reaching the receipt of the residential unit upon completion of its readiness, noting that the next stage will witness an expansion in the projects of the government land development rights program, which will be reserved according to the off-plan sale mechanism.

It is worth noting that the completion rate of construction work on the Danat Sanad project is 67%, while the completion rate of infrastructure work is 19%. The project is being built on an area exceeding 9,000 square meters, and the construction areas reach 220 square meters. It is hoped that the completion rates of the project will be completed and delivered to the beneficiaries during the coming year 2026.
