In implementation of the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the country, may God protect and preserve him, to accelerate the pace of housing projects and provide 50,000 new housing units, and the order of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect him, to begin providing 7,000 housing services, coinciding with the Kingdom of Bahrain's celebrations of its national holidays and the twenty-sixth Sitting Day of His Majesty the King of the country, may God protect and preserve him With the accompanying national events, Mr. Abdullah Taleb, General Manager of the Housing Bank, confirmed that the bank is working in coordination with the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning to implement the plan to provide housing services to citizens, which includes traditional ownership services in addition to the services of the housing financing program, through coordination with the financing banks to begin disbursing financing amounts to citizens applying to benefit from the "Tasheel", "Tasheel+" and "New Category Benefits" financing.
The Director General of the Housing Bank pointed out that the royal directives and the order of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect him, contribute to continuing to enhance the gains by providing financing services that contribute to citizens' immediate access to suitable housing, in addition to contributing to strengthening partnership paths with the private sector to provide the necessary support to citizens to own their homes.
Talib explained that the Housing Bank begins implementing financing procedures in accordance with the approved regulatory frameworks, and in coordination with the relevant authorities, to ensure the organization of the financing disbursement process and link it to the readiness of applications, which contributes to facilitating citizens' transition to the stage of actually benefiting from the housing service.
He added that coordination with commercial banks participating in the housing financing program includes following up on the readiness of applications and completing financing requirements, in a way that ensures the regularity of the financing disbursement process and achieves integration between the various concerned parties, and enhances the efficiency of implementing the planned plan to provide 7,000 housing services.
The Director General of the Housing Bank stressed that the bank places serving citizens at the top of its priorities, by working to simplify procedures, clarify available financing paths, and provide the necessary guidance to beneficiaries regarding options appropriate to their needs, ensuring that transactions are completed within the approved time frames and in a smooth and fast manner.
