Her Excellency Mrs. Amna bint Ahmed Al Rumaihi, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, along with Her Excellency Ms. Lulwa Saleh Al Awadhi, Secretary General of the Supreme Council for Women, paid an inspection visit to the "Masaken 2" project in Al Hidd Housing City, as part of following up on the project's developments and progress in its completion rates, in the presence of a number of officials from the Ministry and the Supreme Council for Women.
During the visit, Her Excellency Mrs. Amna bint Ahmed Al Rumaihi, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, confirmed that the interest and keenness of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, wife of the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women, may God protect her, contributed to continuing to enhance efforts aimed at continuing to provide housing services to Bahraini women, noting that the "Masaken" project is one of the pioneering initiatives in the path of continuing to enhance support for women to obtain adequate housing Which provides her with living stability.
The Minister pointed out that the "Masaken 2" project comes as a continuation of the joint efforts with the Supreme Council for Women, after the success of the "Masaken 1" project in the Al-Lawzi area, which achieved the desired goals of providing housing for female citizens, noting that the completion rates of the construction works of the "Masaken" project in Al-Hadd Housing City have reached 73%, while the completion rates of the infrastructure works have been completed, noting that the project is proceeding according to the timetable Its completion rates are scheduled to be completed by the end of this year, in preparation for the start of the phase of allocating apartments to beneficiary female citizens.
For her part, Her Excellency Ms. Lulwa Saleh Al-Awadhi, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Women, confirmed that the completion rate of this project, which meets the aspirations of Bahraini women, confirms the common keenness to accelerate the pace of housing projects that support Bahraini women and their stability.
His Excellency the Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Women appreciated the effective partnership between the Council and the Ministry, which aims to continue meeting the housing needs of Bahraini women, in a way that achieves sustainable development and keeps pace with common visions and goals.
During the field visit, the engineering team reviewed the project components, residential apartment designs, and the services and facilities that were provided, according to the plan developed in coordination between the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning and the Supreme Council for Women, which is based on providing appropriate housing standards by providing residential apartments characterized by their modern building designs, in addition to providing facilities and services that meet the needs of the project beneficiaries.
