EskanBank has announced the integration of its digital housing platform, Baity, withthe national eKey 2.0 system. This development, in collaboration with theInformation & eGovernment Authority (iGA) and Beyon Connect, positions Baityas the first private-sector app to adopt this advanced authentication system,following the governmental "My Gov" app.
Theannouncement was made on the sidelines of the opening of “Innovation in SocialHousing Sector” Summit and Conference, held under the esteemed patronage of HisRoyal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and PrimeMinister, under the theme “Towards Innovative and Sustainable HousingSolutions.”
The integration of the eKey2.0 system into the Baity platform enhances user access to housing services byenabling secure, efficient, and passwordless authentication through advancedbiometric verification (facial recognition). This integration also empowersusers with full control over their personal data and its sharing with relevantservice providers, reinforcing both privacy and convenience in digitalinteractions.
Theadvanced key integration features enable individuals to complete their housingtransactions with the highest levels of security and data protection,preserving their privacy and user rights, while saving time and effort andensuring easy access to services.
