مملكة البحرين تترأس الاجتماع الرابع والعشرين لوزراء الإسكان بدول مجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية

في إطار رئاسة مملكة البحرين للدورة السادسة والأربعين لمجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية، ترأست سعادة السيدة آمنة بنت أحمد الرميحي وزيرة الإسكان والتخطيط العمراني، الاجتماع الرابع والعشرين لأصحاب المعالي والسعادة الوزراء المعنيين بشؤون الإسكان والتخطيط العمراني بدول مجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية، الذي استضافته مملكة البحرين، بمشاركة أصحاب المعالي والسعادة الوزراء والمسؤولين المعنيين بقطاع الإسكان في دول المجلس، وذلك بحضور معالي الأستاذ جاسم محمد البديوي الأمين العام لمجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية.

وفي مستهل الاجتماع، رحبت سعادة الوزيرة بأصحاب المعالي والسعادة الوزراء والوفود المشاركة، مؤكدةً أن مملكة البحرين في ظل المسيرة التنموية الشاملة بقيادة حضرة صاحب الجلالة الملك حمد بن عيسى آل خليفة ملك البلاد المعظم حفظه الله ورعاه، وتوجيهات صاحب السمو الملكي الأمير سلمان بن حمد آل خليفة ولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء حفظه الله، تولي قطاع الإسكان والتخطيط العمراني اهتمامًا متواصلًا، انطلاقًا من دوره المحوري في دعم الاستقرار الاجتماعي وتعزيز جودة الحياة وتطوير مجتمعات سكنية متكاملة ومستدامة.

وأشارت سعادة الوزيرة إلى أن التطورات المتسارعة التي يشهدها قطاع الإسكان، وما يصاحبها من توسع في توظيف التقنيات الحديثة والحلول التمويلية المبتكرة والتحول الرقمي، تفتح آفاقًا أوسع أمام دول المجلس لتطوير خدماتها الإسكانية وتعزيز كفاءتها واستدامتها، وتوفير خيارات أكثر تنوعًا ومرونة للمواطنين.

وفي هذا الإطار، أعدت مملكة البحرين دليل المنصات الرقمية للتمويل السكني للأفراد بدول مجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية، والذي تم اعتماده من قبل الدول الأعضاء، في خطوة تعكس الحرص المشترك على الاستفادة من الحلول الرقمية الحديثة في تطوير منظومة التمويل السكني بدول المجلس.

وأشارت سعادتها إلى أن إعداد مملكة البحرين للدليل يجسد أهمية المبادرات العملية في دعم مسيرة العمل الخليجي المشترك، وتعزيز التكامل وتبادل التجارب الناجحة بين دول المجلس، إلى جانب الاستفادة من التحول الرقمي في تطوير منظومة التمويل السكني وتوسيع الخيارات المتاحة أمام المواطنين.

وأكدت سعادة الوزيرة أهمية تزامن الاجتماع الوزاري الخليجي مع النسخة الثانية من مؤتمر ومعرض الابتكار في قطاع السكن الاجتماعي 2026، بما يتيح تعزيز تبادل الخبرات والاطلاع على الحلول والممارسات المبتكرة، ودعم التعاون والتكامل الخليجي في المجال الإسكاني.

وتضمن جدول أعمال الاجتماع عددًا من الموضوعات ذات الأولوية الرامية إلى تعزيز مسيرة العمل الإسكاني الخليجي المشترك، من بينها تطوير السياسات والبرامج الإسكانية، والتخطيط العمراني المستدام، وتطوير التشريعات والأدلة الاسترشادية، والشراكة مع القطاع الخاص والمؤسسات التمويلية، إلى جانب الاستفادة من التقنيات الحديثة والتحول الرقمي، وتبادل الخبرات والتجارب والمعلومات بين دول المجلس.As part of the Kingdom of Bahrain’s presidency of the 46th session of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Her Excellency Amna bint Ahmed Al Rumaihi, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, chaired the 24th meeting of GCC ministers responsible for housing and urban planning affairs, hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain. The meeting brought together Their Excellencies the ministers and officials responsible for the housing sector across GCC member states, in the presence of His Excellency Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council.

At the outset of the meeting, Her Excellency the Minister welcomed Their Excellencies the ministers and participating delegations, affirming that the Kingdom of Bahrain, under the comprehensive development process led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, continues to place significant emphasis on the housing and urban planning sector, recognising its central role in supporting social stability, enhancing quality of life, and developing integrated and sustainable residential communities.

Her Excellency noted that the rapid developments taking place in the housing sector, accompanied by the expanding use of modern technologies, innovative financing solutions and digital transformation, are opening broader opportunities for GCC states to develop their housing services, enhance their efficiency and sustainability, and provide citizens with more diverse and flexible options.

In this context, the Kingdom of Bahrain prepared the Guide to Digital Platforms for Individual Housing Finance in GCC Countries, which was approved by the member states. The initiative reflects a shared commitment to leveraging modern digital solutions to advance the housing finance ecosystem across the GCC.

Her Excellency stated that Bahrain’s preparation of the guide demonstrates the importance of practical initiatives in supporting joint Gulf cooperation, strengthening integration, and facilitating the exchange of successful experiences among GCC states, while also benefiting from digital transformation to develop the housing finance ecosystem and expand the options available to citizens.

Her Excellency also highlighted the importance of the GCC ministerial meeting coinciding with the second edition of the Social Housing Innovation Conference and Exhibition 2026, providing an opportunity to enhance the exchange of expertise, explore innovative solutions and practices, and support greater Gulf cooperation and integration in the housing sector.

The meeting’s agenda included a number of priority topics aimed at advancing joint Gulf cooperation in the housing sector, including the development of housing policies and programmes, sustainable urban planning, the development of legislation and guidelines, partnerships with the private sector and financial institutions, as well as leveraging modern technologies and digital transformation and enhancing the exchange of expertise, experiences and information among GCC member states.
