"Towards innovative and sustainable housing solutions", to be held at the Bahrain World Exhibition Centre, organized by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning and the Housing Bank.
The Minister of Housing and Urban Planning said that the Conference on Innovation in the Social Housing Sector and the accompanying exhibition are part of the Ministry's and Housing Bank's desire to provide housing plans and policies in the Kingdom of Bahrain with more innovative housing initiatives and solutions. by reviewing experiences and experiences, introducing working papers and exchanging discussions in which senior officials from both the public and private sectors from within and outside the Kingdom are to participate, In addition to a selection of specialists in this field worldwide.
The Minister noted that the meetings of the Conference will include a number of topics One of the most prominent interlocutors is the exchange of experiences on the most prominent designs and innovative techniques in construction, The private sector's investment opportunities for the development of the social housing sector, as well as the integration of society's requirements into the implementation of social housing programmes and services, Strengthening legal mechanisms and regulatory procedures in the social housing sector, as well as the intelligent exploitation of land spaces to provide sustainable urban communities, Discussions and working papers on successful experiences will also be presented within the framework of the topic of reviewing the reality of the housing sector in terms of challenges and opportunities for development.
In a related context, the Minister said that the exhibition accompanying the conference would include the participation of real estate companies to showcase their latest projects, as well as banks funded by funds "Facilitation" and "Benefits of the developed category". The exhibition will be available to visit citizens to learn about the most prominent projects available in the Kingdom and the financing offers offered by banks, in the framework of the Ministry and the Housing Bank to inform citizens about the options available for obtaining adequate housing. A number of relevant institutions will participate in the exhibition from inside and outside the Kingdom, along with the dedicated pavilion of the Ministry and Housing Bank.
Minister Al-Rumaihi stressed that the conference and the accompanying exhibition will contribute to producing outputs and recommendations that contribute to the promotion of housing policies, plans and initiatives with viable innovative solutions and ideas to accelerate citizens' access to adequate housing.
