The Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning has announced the extension of the period for updating income data for the Ministry's existing housing applications until November 14 to allow citizens who have not completed the modernization procedures to complete the required procedure within the next two weeks.

The Ministry called on citizens who had not completed the compulsory modernization of the housing application to expedite the completion of the transaction before the expiration of the specified additional period, by attaching proof of the applicant's housing income before the specified period, in order to ensure the continuity of the housing application as an existing application and the continued disbursement of the housing allowance to the beneficiaries.

The Ministry indicated that the mechanism for updating income data is electronically by attaching the proof of income of the housing applicant through the online service dedicated to "updating income data" only, which was launched on the national portal bahrain.bh, without the need to visit the customer service center at the Ministry's headquarters

The Ministry also noted that an appointment could be reserved for the "Income Update Service Inquiries" service. Launched by the Ministry on its website, which allows citizens to communicate visually with the employee of the Customer Service Center to answer questions related to the modernization service. The Ministry also provides support and assistance services via the Ministry's hotline 80008001 or interactive communication services available via the Remote Customer Service Center platform on the Ministry's website.

The Ministry reported that the modernization of housing applications is a periodic procedure implemented with a view to updating the Ministry's database and information, thereby contributing to support development plans and planning the provision of housing services to citizens. The procedure also aims to ensure that citizens' data conform to the criteria for accessing the service applicant.
