The Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning confirmed that a government technical team is currently organizing a campaign to inspect and inspect residential apartments in the Ministry's buildings in various governorates of the Kingdom of Bahrain for three months, with a view to ensuring the safety of electrical connections, major transformers and pressure of loads in apartments and condominiums, as part of a series of precautionary measures aimed at ensuring the safety of its residents.
The Ministry reported that the technical team included experts from the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning, the Electricity and Water Authority, the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Agriculture, the General Directorate of Civil Defence and the Housing Bank. The Ministry called on citizens of the apartments to cooperate with the Group to carry out the tasks and actions in this regard.
The Ministry indicated that the procedures of the technical team include ascertaining all standards and guidelines approved by the Electricity and Water Authority regarding the safety of electrical connections in case of further adjustments or connections within the apartment by the beneficiaries and explains that if a technical imbalance is observed, the technical team will address it immediately, The beneficiary undertakes to maintain the technical procedure implemented by the team and to avoid implementing modifications that contravene the guidelines followed.
The Ministry indicated that it would circulate timetables for the team's visits by sending text messages to all beneficiaries, within the pre-notification procedures for apartment residents, in order to facilitate the team's work.
