Her Excellency Mrs. Amna bint Ahmed Al Rumaihi, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, received in the presence of His Excellency Engineer Ahmed Abdul Aziz Al Khayyat, CEO of the Urban Planning and Development Authority, and His Excellency Engineer Asim Abdul Latif Abdullah, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning, Mr. Mukesh T. Kavalani, President of the Thatai-Hindu Merchants Association, and a number Members of the association.
During the meeting, the Minister of Housing and Urban Planning confirmed the historical friendly relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of India, noting the importance of community partnership with institutions of public benefit to promote development and exchange experiences in various sectors, including the housing and engineering fields, praising the community efforts of the President and members of the Thatai-Hindu Merchants Association, to advance various sectors to achieve their desired goals.
During the meeting, opportunities for partnership and joint cooperation between the two sides were discussed, and the association’s projects and activities were reviewed.
For his part, Mr. Mukesh T. Kavalani, President of the Thattai-Hindu Merchants Association, extended his sincere thanks to Her Excellency the Minister of Housing and Urban Planning for her keenness to learn about the association’s objectives, plans and programs, in order to enhance cooperation between the two friendly countries, praising the rapid development and growth witnessed by the Kingdom of Bahrain in the pace of project implementation Housing, especially through consolidating partnerships with the private sector.
