Her Excellency Mrs. Amna bint Ahmed AlRumaihi, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, received in the presence ofHis Excellency Engineer Ahmed Abdul Aziz Al Khayyat, CEO of the Urban Planningand Development Authority, and His Excellency Engineer Asim Abdul LatifAbdullah, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning, Mr.Mukesh T. Kavalani, President of the Thatai-Hindu Merchants Association, and anumber Members of the association.
During the meeting, the Minister ofHousing and Urban Planning confirmed the historical friendly relations betweenthe Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of India, noting the importance ofcommunity partnership with institutions of public benefit to promotedevelopment and exchange experiences in various sectors, including the housingand engineering fields, praising the community efforts of the President andmembers of the Thatai-Hindu Merchants Association, to advance various sectorsto achieve their desired goals.
During the meeting, opportunities for partnership andjoint cooperation between the two sides were discussed, and the association’sprojects and activities were reviewed.
For his part, Mr. Mukesh T. Kavalani,President of the Thattai-Hindu Merchants Association, extended his sincerethanks to Her Excellency the Minister of Housing and Urban Planning for herkeenness to learn about the association’s objectives, plans and programs, inorder to enhance cooperation between the two friendly countries, praising therapid development and growth witnessed by the Kingdom of Bahrain in the pace ofproject implementation Housing, especially through consolidating partnershipswith the private sector.
