In implementation of the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, regarding holding events and exhibitions that contribute to introducing housing financing services and programs, Her Excellency Mrs. Amna bint Ahmed Al Rumaihi, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, announced the launch of the third edition of the Housing Finance Exhibition at the Housing Finance Complex. City Center Bahrain, from 8 to 17 February.
Minister Amna Al Rumaihi stated that the third edition of the Housing Finance Exhibition witnesses a significant increase in the number of real estate development companies and real estate agents participating in the exhibition. The total number of participating companies is 28, offering over 10,000 diverse properties at prices that align with housing financing options. Additionally, eight banks and commercial institutions are participating in the housing finance program.
The Ministry also provides a joint pavilion in which the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning and the Housing Bank participate to provide financial consultations to citizens, in addition to the participation of the Urban Planning and Development Authority through its platform, which allows citizens who are considering benefiting from “Facilitation of Cooperation” the ability to verify the classification of the property and the possibility of dividing it, in addition to services. Others made available by the Authority to citizens.
Minister of Housing and Urban Planning further stated that the objective of organizing the Housing Finance Exhibition is to continue educating citizens about the types and benefits of financial services and providing appropriate consultations to each citizen interested in benefiting from housing financing services. The exhibition also showcases the government's land development rights projects and offers exclusive deals on properties and banking financing for citizens who wish to avail themselves of the "Facilitation" and "New Category Benefits" financing options.
Al-Rumaihi added that the exhibition is at the forefront of the initiatives launched by the ministry to enhance citizen communication services. The exhibition brings together all stakeholders in the housing finance services system for citizens in one place, making it easier for them to choose the appropriate service. She mentioned that the ministry's communication initiatives in this regard extend to include remote financial consultation services, which have recently been launched and have gained significant popularity among citizens. Additionally, the ministry has implemented a mobile branch initiative in the Northern Governorate as part of a plan to implement the initiative in all the Kingdom's provinces.
Minister Al-Rumaihi called on citizens to visit the exhibition, which will be available for 10 days, to benefit from the diversity of real estate and financing options, and to obtain suitable housing through immediate services.
