A delegation of employees of the House of Representatives and the Senate of the friendly United States of America visited the city of Salman as part of their visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain, where the delegation was briefed on the urban renaissance and models of housing units and infrastructure services in the city. An introductory video was also shown about the housing achievements in light of the comprehensive development process led by His Majesty. King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the great king of the country, may God protect and preserve him.
During the tour, the delegation was briefed on the most prominent stages of the housing journey from about 60 years ago until today, by meeting thousands of housing requests for Bahraini families, through various paths, in addition to providing 40,000 housing units within the royal directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the country. Most of this is in residential city projects.
For its part, the US Congress delegation expressed their admiration for the cities of the Kingdom of Bahrain, which serve thousands of citizens within a sustainable environment that provides them with adequate housing.
