Her Excellency Mrs. Amna bint Ahmed Al-Rumaihi, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, received in her office the head and members of the Municipal Council in the Northern Region, to discuss a number of common issues.
The meeting touched on enhancing joint cooperation between the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning and the Municipal Council, and the progress of the Ministry's plans and programs to provide decent and appropriate housing services for citizens was reviewed.
The Minister of Housing and Urban Planning praised the efforts made by the members of the municipal councils, which enrich the municipal work in the Kingdom, stressing the importance of the role of the municipal councils in supporting the various housing programs.
For his part, Mr. Shubbar Al-Wadaei, Chairman of the Municipal Council in the Northern Region, appreciated the Ministry's efforts in providing housing services to citizens, stressing keenness to cooperate with the Ministry to serve the housing file in a manner commensurate with the aspirations of citizens.
