Her Excellency Mrs. Amna bint Ahmed Al-Rumaihi, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, held a joint working meeting with Her Excellency Mrs. Sarah Al-Zafrani, Tunisian Minister of Housing and Equipment, on the sidelines of participation in the work of the second session of the United Nations-Habitat in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi.
During the meeting, they reviewed the bilateral fraternal relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of Tunisia, and ways to enhance joint cooperation in the areas of housing and urban development. They also discussed the efforts of the two brotherly countries in following up the implementation of the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals, and the efforts that are being highlighted in the current session of UN-Habitat.
The two parties also discussed efforts to provide housing services to citizens, and in light of the government's interest in the housing sector as one of the most important elements in providing a decent life for citizens, as well as reviewing the most prominent standards and visions followed by both countries in the areas of housing, planning and urban development.
