Her Excellency Mrs. Amna bint Ahmed Al-Rumaihi, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, participated in the second edition of the Municipal Investment Forum "Foras", which is hosted by the Saudi capital, Riyadh, at the invitation of His Excellency Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Minister Amna Al-Rumaihi praised the objectives of the forum, which seeks to raise the private sector's contributions to the development of cities, by stimulating local investments and attracting foreign investments that contribute to raising the quality of life in cities, and enabling the realization of sectoral and regional strategies.
Minister Al-Rumaihi appreciated the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to host these international investment benefits, which contribute to enhancing investment opportunities in the Kingdom and supporting the national economy, in line with the economic vision of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia 2030, noting that the Kingdom of Bahrain is working on pursuing plans, programs and initiatives that contribute to enhancing the environment. investment in the Kingdom, especially since the government's vision aspires to strengthen partnership initiatives with the private sector, and places that path at the top of its priorities, noting that this approach is in line with the objectives of implementing Bahrain's Economic Vision 2030.
The minister noted the wide participation of entrepreneurs, small and medium enterprises, and major investors in various economic activities in the work of this forum, which includes more than 25 dialogue sessions and 50 specialized workshops, and presents more than 5,000 investment opportunities.
The Minister of Housing and Urban Planning affirmed the Ministry's keenness to benefit from the outcomes of this forum, and to enhance investment cooperation between the two brotherly countries to exchange experiences and investment opportunities, especially in the fields of social housing and urban planning.
The minister also praised the efforts of the Ministry of Municipal, Rural Affairs and Housing in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and its ambitious initiatives to enhance investment opportunities in the social housing sector to provide housing services to citizens.
