Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, Amena bint Ahmed Al Romaihi, underlined the importance of multiplying the efforts during the upcoming phase to implement projects in the urban planning field. She stressed keenness on promoting comprehensive and sustainable development and achieving the visions and aspirations of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. She also pointed out the interest in carrying out the directives of the government, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister regarding the development of vital sectors in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
This came during a meeting with Chief Executive of the Urban Planning and Development Authority, which was held in the presence of a number of officials from the ministry and the authority.
The Minister of Housing and Urban Planning pointed out the efforts of the High Urban Planning Committee, chaired by HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in advancing urban planning in the Kingdom of Bahrain and ensuring sustainable urban development. She pointed out keenness to meet the goals of Bahrain Economic Vision 2030 in which urban growth constitutes one of the characteristic features of the national development programmes.
