Engineer Basem bin Yaqoub Al-Hamar, Minister of Housing, held an expanded working meeting in the presence of the Assistant Undersecretary for Housing Policies and Services, Dr. Khaled Abdul Rahman Al-Haidan, a number of directors and heads of departments, with a number of officials of the Ministry of Housing, to discuss the developments of the program to develop the administrative and service system in the Ministry.
During the meeting, Engineer Basem Al-Hamar stressed the need to continue working on implementing the axes of the service and administrative development program in the ministry, which aims to facilitate the procedures provided to citizens and raise the production efficiency of all departments and sections, directing the need to implement government standards for evaluating government service centers, and adopting them as a work methodology to achieve Objectives of the administrative and service development program.
The Minister of Housing praised the contents of the Government Service Centers Evaluation Award, which comes within the framework of the esteemed government initiatives headed by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister for the development of government performance, especially in service agencies, noting that such ambitious initiatives contribute to Motivating efforts and giving, and finding opportunities for improvement in the various pillars of communication with citizens, congratulating all those who won gold and silver shields for this pioneering initiative.
On the other hand, the Minister of Housing reviewed the latest developments in the development of the electronic system for all housing services provided to citizens, and the internal administrative services in the ministry. In developing the digital infrastructure at the Ministry, and urged more improvement and development initiatives, to keep pace with the esteemed government’s vision regarding the digital transformation plan for government services.
During the meeting, a plan to develop communication with citizens was discussed, as the technical team stated that the ministry will launch an upgraded version of the ministry's communications exchange after the completion of the pilot phase, which helps provide more interactive communication with citizens, as part of the service and administrative development system in the ministry. .
The Minister praised the keenness of the Ministry of Housing's employees to present innovative ideas, which represent a new culture that undoubtedly contributes to the development of the work environment and the success of development initiatives in the ministry's system.
