The Ministry of Housing hosted a delegation of the House of Representatives and Senate employees of the friendly United States of America (US Congress), as part of a visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain. Completion and reconstruction of housing cities and observance of occupational safety in the project, which exceeded 4 million safe working hours since the start of the project until today.
This visit comes to enhance ways of joint cooperation, exchange experiences and learn about development projects during the prosperous era of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of the country, may God protect him. The delegation praised the efforts of the Ministry of Housing in the field of urban development and the quality of cities. Rashdan, Director of the Department of Construction and Maintenance of Housing Projects at the Ministry of Housing, gave a detailed presentation on the most important housing projects and modern cities in the Kingdom of Bahrain, stressing the depth of the strong historical relations and the existing partnership between the two friendly countries.
The delegation was also briefed on an introductory presentation about Bahrain's housing cities and their accompanying services and systems for security, safety and protection of residents, as well as a review of the services available in each city, including bike paths and the practice of various hobbies, green spaces, gardens and waterfronts. The delegation visited models of the units Residential in East Sitra, where all the delegation's inquiries were answered regarding the size of the spaces allocated to the units, and the quality of housing solutions provided to citizens of all categories.
For its part, the delegation expressed its admiration for the housing unit model in East Sitra, stressing that Bahrain has a distinguished experience in providing adequate housing for citizens, and the cooperation that the Ministry is doing with the private sector in a number of its projects.
