His Excellency Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Ministerial Committee for Development Projects and Infrastructure, affirmed that the government, headed by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect him, attaches great importance to activating the role of the private sector. As a major partner in providing social housing projects for citizens with limited income, pointing out that this trend resulted in the provision of thousands of housing units to citizens during the past few years.
His Excellency said, "The technical and financial elements enjoyed by real estate development companies qualify them for a greater role during the next stage, in terms of increasing the supply of housing projects that are commensurate with the financing capabilities provided by the Ministry of Housing to citizens."
This came under the patronage of His Excellency, in the presence of His Excellency Eng. Basem bin Yaqoub Al Hamar, Minister of Housing, a joint meeting was held, today, Tuesday, organized by the Ministry of Housing and the Housing Bank with real estate development companies and banks to introduce the projects of the Government Land Rights Development Program. The meeting was also attended by a number of officials from the ministries. and relevant government agencies.
His Excellency explained that the government supports all initiatives and innovative solutions that contribute to the provision of immediate services to citizens, and the speed of providing them with adequate housing, praising the efforts of all real estate development companies that participated in the initiatives that were put forward during the previous phase, such as the Deira Al Oyoun project, which provided housing for more than three thousand A citizen beneficiary of housing finance, in addition to the companies that contributed to the development of housing units in the projects of Salman City and Dahiyat Al-Lawzi, which provided about 2,500 housing units, as well as companies and banks that contributed under the umbrella of the Mazaya Program in providing more than 10,000 housing services to the listed citizens Their requests are on the ministry's list.
He also praised the efforts of the Minister of Housing, all employees of the Ministry and the Housing Bank, in their efforts to provide immediate and innovative housing solutions and initiatives to citizens during the last period, and to move towards expansion in this direction during the next stage.
For his part, His Excellency Engineer Basem bin Yaqoub Al Hamer, Minister of Housing, valued the generous sponsorship of the joint meeting with real estate development companies and banks by His Excellency Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister.
