Within the framework of the royal directives to provide 40,000 housing units and in implementation of the order of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect him, during today’s cabinet session to distribute 2,000 housing units to citizens during the month of next February, the Ministry of Housing has made all preparations Required for the distribution of housing units in all governorates of the Kingdom within a timetable to complete the distribution during the month of February next
On this occasion, Engineer Bassem bin Yaqoub Al Hamar, Minister of Housing, extended his deepest thanks and gratitude to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the country, may God protect him, and to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect him. On the occasion of the issuance of the order of His Highness the Crown Prince and the Prime Minister to distribute an additional 2,000 housing units to the beneficiary citizens.
The Minister of Housing said that the orders for the distribution of housing units reflect the sublime care that the social housing sector enjoys in the Kingdom from His Majesty the King of the country, may God protect him, and the priority given to this sector by the Council of Ministers headed by His Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect him. Pointing out that the order of His Highness the Crown Prince and the Prime Minister to distribute an additional 2,000 housing units is added to the series of housing achievements witnessed by the Kingdom's comprehensive development process under the leadership of His Majesty the King of the country, may God protect and preserve him.
Al-Hamar pointed out that the housing distributions come in line with the government's commitment to provide 25,000 housing units within the government's program, in line with the Kingdom of Bahrain's Economic Vision 2030 to achieve the aspirations of citizens.
The minister confirmed that the ministry will continue to harness all its energies to implement the distribution schedule, and facilitate procedures for the beneficiaries, similar to the distribution orders that the ministry previously implemented.
