Within the framework of joint efforts to activate the digital transformation plan of the Ministry of Housing and in cooperation with the Information and e-Government Authority, the Assistant Undersecretary for Housing Policies and Services, Dr. Khaled Al-Haidan, that the ministry has converted the “family members’ approval of credit reports” service to an electronic service, explaining that this service allows the citizen to submit a declaration that allows the ministry to dispense with the credit report request in various housing transactions, such as submitting a new application, updating applications, or allocating them and other things. services, noting that the aim is to facilitate housing reviews, and reduce the time and effort of the reviewers.

The Assistant Undersecretary for Housing Policies and Services explained that the beneficiaries of this service are the housing applicants and their basic family members of the first category "housing applicant + husband or wives", and the second category "housing applicant + foreign husband, if any", and the third category "housing applicant" + One or both parents included in the housing application.

In turn, Dr. Zakaria Ahmed Al Khaja, Executive Vice President of Electronic Transformation at the Information and eGovernment Authority, praised the Ministry of Housing's keenness to enhance the digital transformation of its housing services provided to citizens, which contributes to providing them in easy and accessible ways.

Al-Khaja explained that the launch of this service comes as a continuation of the package of electronic services launched by the ministry in cooperation with the authority at the beginning of this year, which amounted to more than 6 integrated electronic services through the national e-government portal bahrain.bh.

Referring to the authority, it worked through the joint coordination teams to re-engineer the procedures and processes related to housing services so as to provide services at the highest level of quality and security, and by entering through the electronic key, which resulted in the provision of advanced and secure electronic services that are easy to use by citizens.

The doctor added that the electronic services provided work to reduce government documents and documents provided by the manual method, through electronic linking between the relevant government agencies to reach the goal of digital integration and reduce paper circulation between government institutions, stressing that the authority will continue to support this trend in implementation of the esteemed government directives. .

In a related context, Al-Haidan announced the launch of another new service related to "the right to dispose of housing services," noting that this service has become available electronically through the electronic platform of the Ministry of Housing, and it enables the citizen to apply for the right to dispose of his service without the need for personal presence, pointing to After submitting the application through the platform, the Legal Affairs Department proceeds with the procedures followed, which contributes to reducing the time and effort of the applicant on the one hand, and accelerating the pace of procedures taken by the Ministry on the other hand.

He explained that these services are also in line with the current conditions for implementing precautionary measures and preventing the Corona virus through social distancing, and reducing overcrowding in the customer service center by 75%.

The Assistant Undersecretary said that these electronic services complement the ministry's vision in keeping pace with technical developments and digital transformation, especially after the re-launch of its electronic platform in its new form, and in line with the esteemed government's directions and commitment to the government's program regarding facilitating citizens' reviews, as the ministry seeks to provide quality services through Visit the electronic platform, which provides several services that will provide a distinctive and flexible service to all beneficiaries.

Al-Haidan indicated that by launching the electronic services for "family members' approval of credit reports" and "the right to dispose of housing services", the ministry will have completed its plans to convert the main services provided by the ministry to auditors into digital services, noting that the next stage will witness the start of planning a program Applying artificial intelligence to the ministry's services.
