Eng. Bassem bin Yaqoub Al-Hamr, Minister of Housing, congratulated His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Public Authority for Sports, on the occasion of the royal confidence in his appointment as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Public Authority for Sports.
The Minister of Housing emphasized the role of His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad and his outstanding contributions in supporting and strengthening the sports movement and athletes and developing the sports system in the Kingdom of Bahrain, and translating this into tangible achievements at the local and global levels.
Eng. Al-Hamr also expressed that the General Sports Authority, under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad, will achieve a number of goals, programs and strategies, so that Bahraini sports are compatible with global developments and meet the level of aspirations and capabilities of Bahraini youth in sports, in line with the royal vision of His Majesty the King, may God protect him.
