Engineer Bassem bin Yaqoub Al-Hamr, Minister of Housing, affirmed that the allocation of an annual day that encourages sports reflects the extent of the interest that sport enjoys in the Kingdom of Bahrain, in light of the human values ​​it represents that contribute to building and developing societies. Pointing out that choosing to offer a remote sports course comes in line with the national plan to tackle the Corona virus.
This came on the sidelines of the sports course organized by the Ministry of Housing for its members entitled "Sports Instructions and Exercises" presented by the national coach Salah Sayyar through the direct broadcast of the ministry's account on the social networking sites "Instagram", in cooperation with the Muharraq Model Youth Center of the Ministry of Youth and Sports Affairs to celebrate Bahrain Day The athlete who falls on the ninth of February every year.
The Minister of Housing indicated that the allocation of a national sports day contributes to spreading the positive energy of individuals and institutions, improving and enhancing the quality of life in society, thus contributing to the inculcation of the values ​​of happiness that help in production and giving, maintain health and safety, and contribute to building a sports community, especially since Bahraini sports It is currently living its brightest times in terms

The sports course included health tips related to nutrition and the most prominent home sports practices. The course also included practical exercises in fitness and slimming as application models that included the muscles of the whole body, as well as its focus on the aspects of warm-up and stretching and their impact before the start of exercises.
