Engineer Basem bin Yaqoub Al-Hamr, Minister of Housing, in the presence of Engineer Reda Al-Darraj, Assistant Undersecretary for Housing Projects at the Ministry, received the contestant, Syed Mahmoud Adnan, one of the three winners of the government innovation competition "Fikra", which was launched in implementation of the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince The Prime Minister, praising His Highness’s vision, which aims to develop government work through innovative ideas that enhance levels of productivity and efficiency, and put the interest of the homeland and the citizen in priority.
The Minister of Housing was briefed on the participant’s idea, Sayed Mahmoud, regarding the expansion of offering housing lands for development under the title “Ownership”, which aims to strengthen partnership with the private sector through bidding for the development of various housing lands. The Reds appreciated the contestant’s idea, and added: “We salute and encourage Such ambitious ideas that touch our plans and goals. ”Engineer Al-Hamr called for the contestant to be constantly informed of the ministry’s continuous programs and initiatives, stressing that the ministry will take into account the details of the contestant’s idea, and that it will be transferred to the relevant committees for the purpose of benefiting from it in line with the ministry’s plans and programs. It aims at the same goal, appreciating the winner's great effort and successful proposal to develop government ideas in various bodies and institutions.
The Minister of Housing also welcomed all ideas and proposals that would develop the housing file, adding that the Ministry of Housing, and within its plans and visions, is working to provide innovative solutions and diversify options available to citizens to provide them with an appropriate solution to their aspirations and desires. He explained that the government innovation competition "Fikra" provides constructive insights resulting from studying the mechanisms of developing work and searching for solutions to the obstacles facing it, as well as what is required by the stages of development and development in the various service sectors.
