"Housing" signs construction contracts for "Qalali" housing project

he Ministry of Housing has concluded construction contracts for the “Qalali” housing project in Block 255 funded by the Gulf Development Program, in the presence of the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Housing Sheikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, the engineer Salman Al-Jasser, representative of Saleh Abdullah Al-Muhanna and his contracting partners in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and a number of senior officials of the Ministry.

"The housing" said that the Qalali housing project includes 194 housing units, and includes land for the construction of a future mosque, noting that the duration of the project will be about 20 months to implement the housing units, with delivery to be at the end of the first quarter of 2022.

The Ministry affirmed that the Qalali project represents a new housing gain that is added to the achievements made in the prosperous era of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the country's monarch, the Almighty, may God preserve and sponsor him, and a new step towards implementing His Majesty's high order to build 40 thousand new housing units.

The Ministry also indicated that this project is one of the strategic projects that reflect the vision of the esteemed government headed by His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the distinguished Prime Minister, and the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander, First Deputy Prime Minister, And to ensure adequate housing for citizens in accordance with the highest quality standards and as quickly as possible.
The Ministry of Housing confirmed that the design of the project comes in accordance with the latest specifications followed in the Kingdom of Bahrain, as it was taken into consideration to raise the quality of life in the design and increase the green area in the project, in addition to applying the concepts of sustainability and environmental protection through the use of solar energy in the operation of lighting poles.
