In the context of efforts to support the national plan to combat the Corona Virus "Covid 19", the Housing Committee started to hold its periodic meetings using the "remote communication" technique, and the meeting dealt with a number of urgent housing issues, which focused on and decided upon many humanitarian cases.
In this regard, the Ministry of Housing confirmed that it seeks to employ technology in everything that would reduce mixing between its offenders in order to preserve their safety, and in accordance with government directives to take appropriate measures to limit the spread of the coronavirus, noting that the use of remote communication technology comes in line with the Ministry's keenness to activate the use of Technology and reliance on innovative solutions, where the Ministry pays great attention to activating technology to meet the needs and aspirations of auditors and users of housing services.
Within the framework of the Ministry’s keenness to continue serving the citizens, it invited all auditors to benefit from the electronic services provided by the ministry, specifically with regard to submitting a new application, or updating existing requests by visiting the website or by scanning the barcode available on the communication sites Ministry of Social Affairs, to facilitate the conduct of housing transactions, and in line with the approach of the Ministry, which works to automate systems and transactions electronically, to keep abreast of digital developments and strive to serve auditors as soon as possible and with minimal effort.
The Ministry also confirmed that it welcomes receiving all inquiries by calling or by receiving notes through the National System for Suggestions and Complaints, "Contact", where a competent staff in the Ministry follows up on all communications and observations received and respond to them.
