Her Excellency Ms. Amna bint Ahmed Al-Rumaihi, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, stressed the importance of active partnership with the private sector in promoting innovative solutions to social housing for citizens and further diversifying the financing and real estate options and opportunities for beneficiaries stating that these successful partnerships will contribute to the success of the Conference on Innovation in the Social Housing Sector, Held under the auspices of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister from April 23 to 25 at the Bahrain World Exhibition Centre.
This came during the conclusion by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning and Housing Bank of Platinum Care Agreements for the Conference on Innovation in the Social Housing Sector in the presence of Mr. Osman Ahmed, Chief Executive Officer of the Bahrain National Bank Group, Ms. Fatima Al-Alawi, Chief Executive Officer, Bahrain Islamic Bank, and Mr. Yasser Al-Sharifi, Chief Executive Officer, Bahrain and Kuwait Bank Group, Mr. Ahmed Ali Al Emadi, CEO of Diyar Al Muharraq, Mr. Youssef Bujiri, CEO of Baraq Al Rtaj, and Mr. Abdullah Ali, CEO of Delmon Gate.
Minister Al-Rumaihi noted the success of the Government's vision to involve the private sector in programmes to provide housing services to citizens which will play a pivotal role in the success of the outcomes of the Conference on Innovation in the Social Housing Sector in order to realize its aspirations, At the same time, it expresses its thanks and appreciation to all partners contributing to the support of this important national event. s social housing ", reflecting their firm belief that innovation and joint cooperation between the Government and the private sector are essential elements for the development of social housing in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Minister Al-Rumaihi reported that the next phase will see a greater role for opportunities to involve the private sector in the creation of housing services in cooperation with the Housing Bank, through the application of the outputs and recommendations of the conference and the accompanying exhibition, which will strengthen housing policies and initiatives to accelerate citizens' access to housing.
Mr. Osman Ahmed, Chief Executive Officer of the National Bank of Bahrain Group, drew attention to the importance of the Conference's themes and outputs in the development of social housing in the Kingdom. It serves as an opportunity for the Bank to reflect the ongoing commitment to social responsibility, as well as the belief of the senior management of the Bank in the importance of strengthening public-private sector cooperation that negates positively the strengthening of the housing sector.
To that end, Ms. Fatima Alawi, Chief Executive Officer, Bahrain Islamic Bank, pointed out (BisB) stresses the importance of sponsoring the Conference on Innovation in the Social Housing Sector, which reflects the active partnership with the government sector in the implementation of various programs and initiatives that will contribute to providing innovative housing solutions for citizens. It emphasizes that the sponsorship of the Conference is part of the Bank's endeavours to provide housing solutions that support government trends to advance housing in the Kingdom.
