On this occasion, the Minister of Housing and Urban Planning affirmed the Government's desire to provide social housing services and decent livelihoods for citizens under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa of the country. In a related context, Minister Amna al-Rumaihi said that the Ministry had also begun to implement the directive of His Royal Highness, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to increase the number of beneficiaries of the programme For the year 2024, there are 1400 additional beneficiaries. The procedures for allocating funding to citizens applying for the program are currently being terminated until December of this year. The banks participating in the program will begin to implement the exchange procedures in accordance with the procedures of each financed bank.
The Minister said that the orders and directives to provide housing services to citizens in conjunction with the Kingdom of Bahrain's celebration of its national holidays, the 25th anniversary of the sitting of His Majesty the Great King of God and His patronage, and the accompanying national events, would give citizens greater joy and contribute to the Ministry's efforts to provide adequate housing for citizens in order to achieve the housing objectives set out in the 2023-2026 Government Programme.
Minister Amna al-Rumaihi congratulated the citizens who benefited from housing services, wishing them blessed housing, and affirmed that the Ministry's task force will harness its energies during the next phase to speed up the provision of services to beneficiary citizens.
