The Equal Opportunities Committee of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning held its third periodic meeting for this year, chaired by H.E. Ms. Duniya Faisal Sarhan, Assistant Under-Secretary for Resources and Information of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning, where the Committee's strategic plan for 2024-2026 was adopted.
The meeting discussed Bahraini women's gains in the housing sector and reviewed a series of initiatives and proposals aimed at further meeting the aspirations of Bahraini women in this sector and promoting the principle of equal opportunities. The objectives of 2025 were discussed in programmes and plans to be implemented in the coming year through a review of all areas to ensure gender balance.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Committee stressed the importance of continuing to support the motivational policies of the Ministry's female staff by providing a working environment in line with national plans to promote the advancement of women in various areas of their work in the housing sector.
