The Northern Governorate, in coordination with the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning and the Housing Bank, launched the second initiative of the mobile branch for housing finance at the “Country Mall” complex in the Northern Governorate, which will continue during the period from January 18 to 20, in the presence of Mr. Ali bin Sheikh Abdul Hussein Al-Asfour, Governor of the Northern Governorate, and His Excellency Engineer Asim Abdul Latif Abdullah, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning, members of the Municipal Council in the Northern Governorate, and a number of officials from the Ministry, the Northern Governorate and the Housing Bank.
While attending the opening of the mobile exhibition for housing financing, Mr. Ali bin Sheikh Abdul Hussein Al-Asfour, Governor of the Northern Governorate, said that housing services in the Kingdom of Bahrain are witnessing a remarkable development in terms of diversity and the introduction of new programs for housing financing, in addition to the implementation of housing city projects such as Salman City in the Northern Governorate. Governor Al-Asfour pointed out that organizing this initiative comes from the Northern Governorate’s keenness to diversify the ways in which government services reach citizens, and with the aim of providing an opportunity to learn about the new housing services and financing provided by the Ministry of Housing, Planning and Urbanism to citizens, and to help them find appropriate alternative housing solutions to obtain housing. He expressed his deep thanks and appreciation to the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning for their coordination with the Northern Governorate in opening the second initiative of the mobile branch for housing finance, calling on citizens in the areas of the Northern Governorate to visit the branch and benefit from the consultations provided by the mobile branch.
For his part, Engineer Assem Abdul Latif Abdullah, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning, confirmed that the mobile branch initiative for housing financing received a great response from citizens in the first edition that was held in the Ramli Complex in the Aali area, where the branch witnessed a diversity in the quality of inquiries, access to Housing Bank projects, and direct response. From Ministry employees with inquiries and comments raised by visitors.
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning explained that the mobile branch initiative will witness expansion during the next phase, with the aim of organizing it in various governorates of the Kingdom and according to a specific timetable for that, with the aim of reaching citizens and introducing them to the new services of the Ministry and providing them with the necessary consultations, and the provisions for benefiting from “Facilitation” financing and the benefits of the “Category”. “Innovated” with its various financing purposes.
Citizens in the Northern Governorate areas can visit the mobile branch headquarters in the Country Mall and benefit from the housing consultation services provided by the Ministry to citizens, from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m.
