This came while Her Highness, may God protect her, received Her Excellency Mrs. Amna bint Ahmed Al Rumaihi, Minister of Housing, at the headquarters of the Supreme Council for Women in Riffa, where Her Highness blessed the launch of the second phase of the housing project “Masaken” in the city of East Hidd, which is directed to the fifth category of female beneficiaries with the right to usufruct. Of housing services, Her Highness indicated that the expansion of the “Masaken” project comes based on the success of the first phase of the project in the Al-Lawzi area in the Northern Governorate, which was opened at the end of 2016, where she expressed her aspiration to generalize the “Masaken” project to include all governorates of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Her Royal Highness, may God protect her, indicated that the Kingdom of Bahrain is one of the first countries that continues to provide quality housing services to male and female citizens, as part of the many initiatives that are in the interest of the family and Bahraini women. In this regard, Her Highness praised the issuance of the Council of Ministers’ decision in its session held. On Monday, November 20, which stipulated the development of benefit criteria for the fifth category with the aim of expanding the circle of beneficiaries of this housing service, in a way that provides a decent and stable life for Bahraini women regardless of their social circumstances and age stages.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Her Highness thanked the Minister of Housing and Urban Planning and her executive team for the Ministry’s tireless efforts to develop housing services and diversify the options available to Bahraini women in a way that facilitates their benefit from these services.
Then Her Highness, may God protect her, listened to a presentation from the Minister about the Housing Project 2 in the city of East Hidd, in which it was stated that the project consists of 4 floors and includes 49 apartments with areas ranging from 93 square meters to 124.7 square meters, and the facilities available in the building such as halls.
